OtherThing

An AI development environment built around local inference. Agents run models on hardware you control, code executes inside a sandbox that cannot read back into your repository, and your repository stays self-hosted. Workspaces include an embedded editor, shared memory, a whiteboard, and voice and video for teams.

The Agorum

A marketplace and community for indie authors and the editors, illustrators and narrators who work with them. It grew out of Incipit, a local-first writing studio whose AI runs on the author's own device, so a manuscript never leaves it.

Your data stays yours

Repositories and documents remain self-hosted. Our software sees only what a user explicitly shares with it.

Your choice of model

Inference runs locally on open models the user selects, rather than through an API that decides what may be asked.

Isolated execution

Generated and shared code runs in a sandbox that cannot reach back into the surrounding codebase.

Alex Desplanque Co-founder, Engineering Alberta, Canada

Alex has run his own businesses since 2004 and has worked in software and hardware since 2018. At Endless Output he deployed NVIDIA compute in a colocation data center, and he still works through the same hardware distribution channel today. He builds across the stack, from TypeScript and Rust services to React and React Native clients and on-device AI running on WebGPU and Ollama, and leads product and engineering across both applications.

Neeraj Singh Engineering India

Neeraj is a full-stack and infrastructure engineer with more than seven years building production systems across fintech, healthcare, mobility and education. He works across backend architecture, cloud-native deployment on AWS, Azure and GCP, and applied AI, from retrieval pipelines and agents to the CI/CD and observability that keep them running.
